最新型のPCを購入すべき

　自分は、現在、PCを3台所有しています。1台目は、VN770/Cでこれは2010年に発売されたNEC製のディスプレイ一体型で、CPUがcore　i5　460MでストレージがHDD容量１GB、メモリ４GBです。OSはWinodws10の64ビット版です。1台目が、2009年に自作したPCでマザボがASUS製M4A785D-M　PRO、CPUはAMD　Athron　XⅡ245e、ストレージHDD1GB、メモリ６GBです。3台目が、最近購入したNEC製
のPC-VKE19EZG9です。CPUがCelelon　5205u、ストレージ128GB、メモリ8GBです。
　PCでの作業は、リタイヤ後のボランティア活動として地区福祉委員会の広報担当をやっているので、広報誌の編集をWORD、EXCEL互換ソフトで行っています。RealOfficeというFreeソフトです。
　A3縦組み7段の記事編集は処理が重たい
下記のような紙面の編集はメモリやCPUのの能力に余裕がなければ重たくてフリーズしがちでした。だって、写真をA3の2ページ分で15枚～20枚ぐらい貼り付けるのが常であり、もちろん圧縮はするのですが、ＰＤＦ変換やWORＤ形式に変換・保存するときにメモリがオーバーフローすることが多かったわけです。
ストレージはSDD・メモリは８ＧＢ以上必須
　従来は、上記の1台目、2台目のＰＣでこういった複雑な凝った紙面の編集作業を行っていたのですが、やはり不都合が多いので、思い切って最新型のノートPCを購入したような次第です。すると、ほとんどフリーズするようなことが無くなって、快適に編集作業が可能になっています。
